Returns Policy
Introduction
This Policy forms part of the Customer Terms and Conditions, and so words defined in the Terms and Conditions have the same meaning in this Policy, unless the context indicates otherwise. Nothing in this Policy is intended to limit your statutory rights in any way.
You may return any product that you bought from the Website if:
- you purchased the wrong item;
- the Medisupplies.co.za product is an unwanted gift;
- the Medisupplies.co.za products has a technical fault; or
- Products that are you purchased incorrectly or that are unwanted
- Parcels must be Packed according to GPP standards
You can return an unwanted product to Medisupplies.co.za , provided:
- it is unopened, undamaged and unused, with the original labels and stickers still attached;
- it is not missing any accessories or parts; and
- you return the product to the Store together with the invoice you received from the Store or you log a return on the Website within 48 Hours of delivery to you or collection by you of the unwanted product, all shopping costs to return will fall on you and not Medisupplies.co.za.
- No short-dated stock or dormant stock will be taken back
- After 48 hours, you can only return a product if it is defective.
- Once we have inspected the Returned Product and validated your return form, we will credit your account with the purchase price of the product within an estimated time of 14-21 working days of the return.
- You may also elect to exchange a Returned Product for another product (the “Exchange Product”) that is of the same value as the Returned Product. If the price of the Returned Product is less than that of the Exchange product, you will be liable to pay the cash difference between the two products. And if the price of the Returned Product is more than that of the Exchange product, Medisupplies.co.za may give you an Medisupplies.co.za voucher equal to the value of the difference between the two product prices.
- If the packaging is in any way opened, damaged or tampered with,Medisupplies.co.za will charge you a handling fee of up to 25% (twenty percent) of the total purchase price of the Returned Product.
- Unsealed products, software subscriptions, electronic software downloads and electronic voucher downloads, gift cards and in-ear or products worn may not be returned to Medisupplies.co.za and are not eligible for refunds.
All Returned Products are subject to inspection by the Medisupplies.co.za prior to a refund or an exchange.
- Any products purchased from the Medisupplies.co.za using a debit card will not be eligible for a refund but may be exchanged for another product.
- If you want Medisupplies.co.za to collect the Returned Product from you, please make sure to email: online@medisupplies.co.za, Medisupplies.co.za may charge a fee to facilitate the collection on the Returned Product. This is applicable to purchases made online.
Products damaged on delivery
- Should a product be damaged or missing any parts or accessories at the time of delivery, please notify Medisupplies.co.za within 48 hours of such delivery. Once we have inspected the product and validated your return, we will at your choice repair or replace the product as soon as possible or credit your account with the purchase price of the product.
Faulty Products
- All Medisupplies.co.za products are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty. If your product is faulty you must follow the process set out in the manufacturer’s warranty as indicated to you by the Medisupplies.co.za .Please note that any manufacturer’s warranty is subject to whatever terms and conditions the manufacturer may impose. These are usually stated in a brochure or leaflet inside or on the product packaging. It is your responsibility to make yourself aware of any such terms and conditions.
- For the avoidance of doubt, the manufacturer’s warranty is provided by the manufacturer and not Medisupplies.co.za . Any queries with regards to the warranty should be addressed with the manufacturer and Medisupplies.co.za can only facilitate the communication between you and the manufacturer.
Refunds
- Refunds will be done electronically via electronic funds transfer (EFT) to a bank account nominated by you. In certain circumstances where possible, Medisupplies.co.za may effect a credit card transaction reversal. Refunds may take up to 14 working days to complete.
- Medisupplies.co.za will not be liable for any bank charges, taxes, interest and/or any other fees that may be levied against you for the refund.
- Fridge Items are STRICTLY non-Refundable & Returnable.
CANCELLED ORDERS OR GOODS ORDERED IN ERROR
All intended returns (shortages, damaged, incorrect order, etc..) must be reported within 24-48 hours of Delivery to client services.
15 days exchange or full refund Terms must be followed.
Returns must be in original condition and packing and must be accompanied by the invoice.
After 15 days and before 3 months of invoice A 15-25%% Handling Fee will be levied No returns will be accepted after 1 month from date of invoice.
NOTE : No refunds or exchanges on end of range items , on special import orders or on showroom / loan items purchased. Baby milk products or medications.
GOODS UNDER WARRANTY
The Group is responsible on behalf of the Manufacturer(s) for the warranty of all goods sold.
Within 1 Year (12 Months) of the date of invoice we will repair at our premises.
Items with a Serial number(Capital Equipment)
Items with a unit cost of over R2500.
NB: All items under R2500 does not form part of this warranty.
Faulty items must be returned to our Office for repairs.
Used consumables such as Probes, Cuffs, Electrodes, Cables etc. do not form part of the hardware being repaired and will thus not be replaced during repair.
The manufacturer’s warranty will only apply to defects in the process of manufacturing the goods and will not apply in the following instances
Damage caused by lightning or power surges
Damage caused by misuse or abuse to the goods
Goods used for a purpose other than the purpose for which they were manufactured
Goods used contrary to their instruction manuals
