Close to the needs of the modern emergency medicine, Rescue Life 9 guarantees a user friendly interface, an  impact-proof 8.4” LCD display  and a powerful battery up to 10 hours to ensure continuous monitoring. Different product configurations are available, from the standard one to the fully equipped device with all optionals included.  System Test and Shock test manually selectable and detailed report printed automatically to ensure readiness and top operating conditions.

Design:

The Rescue Life 9 concept was a study of an ergonomic, attractive,  high performance defibrillator that expresses Progetti Medical’s vision for the future of emergency. It is born from expert Italian designers reflecting the traditions of elegance and comfort. Thanks to the lightweight and transport bag Rescue Life 9 is the perfect device in the hard challenges. Quality and safety is the mix of our expertise, applied to all our products line.

Advanced Technology:

Rescue Life 9 is the new flagship product resulting from the continuous research and development carried out for more than 30 years by  Progetti Medical. The device uses biphasic waveform technology  (BTE) which makes it easy to compensate the shock waveform to match the patient’s impedance. Based on the measured patient  impedance, the biphasic technology adjusts the duration of current f low to optimize the effectiveness of shock delivery. A message on  the display indicates the correct impedance level detected by the defibrillator before discharging.

High Performance ECG Analysis

Rescue Life 9 can filter the ECG signal automatically thanks to two modes:  Diagnostic: ECG signal processing recommended for interpretation and diagnosis of ECG traces by the qualified personnel. Monitoring: digital filtered ECG signal, rejects the most parts of noises and artefacts caused by patient motions or by other physiological process of the body. Through 3/7/12 leads is possible to get a real time view and printing that supports clinicians on suspected arrhythmias. More than 30 selectable energy levels.

Display:

Brilliant, high-resolution TFT LCD colour 8.4” display allow the simultaneous visualization in real time for 3, 7 or 12 leads ECG and plethysmograph waveform with SpO2 sensor connected. ECG leads error message is displayed when cable is disconnected. Customizable ECG display traces in setup menu. Alphanumeric keyboard for entering patient data

Memory and Data Management

Rescue Life 9 can keep up to 10 hours of event and ECG traces and each record holds the ECG trace data from II lead. The recording is available in ADV mode and in AED mode. Each time the analisys starts, the recording will start automatically. Records can be printed or copied by USB PEN and then analyzed by the Data Management Software on PC.

Fast Connection

Users can choose between ergonomic reusable paddles for manual defibrillation or disposable pads for AED mode. Both types are equipped with a single fast lock connection for reliable rescue operations. Single selector for direct access to the menu and to different energy levels. Fast responding: boot up time very quick and defibrillation ready in less than 5 seconds.

AED & Advisory Mode

Simple step 1-2-3 supports the operator during use in AED mode. Voice prompts and visual messages can guide the procedure of CPR and release the shock. Advisory mode automatically and continuously analyzes the ECG rhythm with ECG cable or pads connected to patient and advises if the shock is necessary.

Smart User Support

Visual messages area on screen, different colours for every specific function and clear voice prompts support to the operator during the most difficult situations. Dedicated keys for quick and intuitive access to the main functions. The double battery pack assures long working time operation

Alarm Mode

Configurable alarms for every single function. If the set limits exceed, an alarm message will appear in the dedicated area on the display. The automatic printing function allows to have a report before and after the shock release and automatically of all 12 leads ECG.

Configuration and Optionals

The combined monitor defibrillator Rescue Life 9 is designed to  provide complete monitoring of main patient’s parameters. You  can choose desired configuration according to your needs  and requirements: 10 leads ECG cable, HR, SpO2, NIBP, Temperature and EtCo2. Rescue Life 9 can also perform  synchronized cardioversion and provide external  pacemaker in fixed or demand mode. it is also available the ergonomic carrying bag, multifunction disposable pads for  adult and paediatric, mounting bracket for ambulance.
